Decorative ceiling inlay
This is a full-sized sample drawn by the CNC machine on foam board for the customer’s final design approval.

The outer frame was custom built to fit within the existing framing
The main framework was constructed as a one-piece unit with three removable panels.
The framework was precisely cut to allow four LED light fixtures to be inserted from above, eliminating the LED bezel from being seen.
The inlays were carved out of an extremely rigid 1/4″ thick material to prevent any warping or bowing.
All the framework and removable panels were coated, both sides, with a custom white lacquer finish at the shop.
The ceiling inlay allows access the the HVAC equipment by removing the left panel and access to the attic by removing the right panel. The center panel replaces the unsightly HVAC return air grill. The air filter can be changed by removing the center panel.
