CUSTOM CABINET BENEFITS

Design flexibility – maximum use of space and infinite design possibilities

Lower installation costs (modifying prefinished cabinets and trim is very time consuming and difficult. Semi-custom, factory-built cabinets are all individually shipped and then assembled in the field. Each cabinet needs to be lined up, leveled, squared, and screwed together through the face frames. Custom cabinets are built in large sections. Face frames are built in large sections eliminating seams and allows for inside radius corners for ease of cleaning)

Far superior finished product. All face frames, light rail moldings, crown moldings, decorative trim, exposed cabinet sides, etc. are caulked, nail holes filled, and minor damage repaired, etc. on site. Only after everything is perfect is the final finish applied.

What you can expect from our cabinetry:

Clients who choose custom cabinetry with Radiant Surface Concepts often say the new storage feels as if it has always belonged in the room. Whether you need a full kitchen overhaul, a fresh bathroom vanity, or a living room media wall, careful cabinet design sets the tone for the whole house and keeps daily life running more smoothly.

Function Focused Cabinet Storage For Busy Local Families

Cabinets are more than boxes with doors. They shape how a room functions, how quickly you can get out the door in the morning, and how settled the house feels at night. Radiant Surface Concepts plans each project around how you actually live, not just what looks good in a showroom.

Many homeowners who look for custom cabinetry want a clear, simple process that removes guesswork. Radiant Surface Concepts uses advanced CAD design and CNC equipment to turn approved layouts into real parts that fit correctly when installation day arrives. That mix of planning and technology keeps delays to a minimum and helps your project stay on track.

How our design and build process usually flows:

When the last door is adjusted and the hardware is tightened, you should feel that your space finally works the way you hoped. Many families who work with our team say the new storage feels simple to use, easy to clean, and ready for years of daily use with us as a trusted custom cabinet maker guiding the project from start to finish.

Finishing Details That Tie Your Cabinets Together

Once the layout and structure are set, the details create the personality of your rooms. Door style, finish tone, hardware shape, and interior fittings all play a part. Radiant Surface Concepts helps you balance these choices so the cabinets in your kitchen, baths, laundry room, and built-ins share a family look without feeling identical.

Homeowners who invest in custom cabinetry often want their spaces to feel coordinated from one room to the next. Consistent door styles, related stain or paint colors, and repeated hardware finishes tie everything together. Our team at Radiant Surface Concepts listens closely to your taste, whether you lean warm and traditional or clean and modern, then suggests details that support that direction.

What others thought of

The client hired Robert Sappo after interviewing three contractors from Angie’s List for a kitchen and bathroom remodel and floor replacement. They were impressed by his attentive listening, proactive suggestions, and confident approach. Initially skeptical about some of his ideas, they were convinced by his reassuring demeanor.

During the project, Robert acted not only as a contractor but also as a guide, advisor, and designer. He helped with material selection, accompanied them to suppliers, and maintained clear, punctual billing with no surprises. Described as a perfectionist with high standards and a good sense of humor, he delivered what the client calls their “dream home” after nearly eight months of work.

The client highly recommends Robert and would exclusively choose him for future projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Custom cabinetry is built around your room sizes, appliances, and storage habits instead of forcing stock pieces to fit. This reduces wasted space, awkward gaps, and daily clutter.

Most projects run several weeks from initial meeting through design approvals, fabrication, and installation. Timelines vary by room size, material choices, and appliance schedules.

We use digital design tools to create detailed drawings that show sizes, door styles, and cabinet layouts. You can review these visuals, request adjustments, and approve the plan before any material is cut in our shop.
